Vertical Treaters

WellFlex Vertical Treater efficiently helps remove water and emulsion from crude oil well stream. Once the oil emerges from the treatment process, it is ready for pipeline delivery.

How It Works

The well stream enters near the top of the vessel and flows against the treater shell. Natural gas separates from the liquid and exits the top of the unit while the oil, water and emulsion descend and collect beneath the firebox. Free water separates from the oil and drains from the water leg bottom section to the water storage tank. The spreader breaks up the remaining oil and emulsion to remove any residual water. The treated oil then flows through the heat-retaining baffle, exits near the top of the vessel to a storage tank.
